hi, mine and also your problem is that the figure hovers above the ground and the shadow has a distance to the feet. This especially occurs when the feet are not at the same height and the figure is not at the bottom of the tarp the billboard is created from.
If you move the billboard further down, the bottom of the scene goes down too, but the character still floats above the shadow. How do more …

Excellent tutorial thankyou.I created a billboard using a dinosaur character but when I loaded the billboard and the original character into the scene,and rendered it neither of the textures matched resulting in 2 different coloured dinosaurs.do you have any suggestions how to get the colours to match.
