Released v1.09. Added a button to change paths to the input data files, just in case those paths can't be found normally.

It seems to be working now with your last release, thank you so much for that!

Released v1.08. Added a default fallback location for DS data files.
Highlander (2 years ago)Inappropriate?
The fallback location is only used if no folders are found in the Windows Registry. So, it's possible that you have a content directory configured in DS, but the location has been moved by hand. So, to fix the problem, re-configure your content folders in DS. Remove any locations that aren't used or don't exist anymore. I can also add a program fix to include the fallback more …

Ok so the directory i tried to put was wrong from the beginning.
I tried:
C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\data\DAZ 3D\..

But even after correcting the fallback location to the exact same path you said (Only the Genesis 2 Base, as it's the one I need) it's still giving me the same error.

Could it be that it has to do with me downloading the content from "My more …

Full path of the fallback location:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female\Genesis8Female.dsf
Highlander (2 years ago)Inappropriate?
This program will look in two places for your Daz data files. First place is Windows Registry. This is where DS stores the path for your content folders. So, if you didn't use DS to configure your content folders first (or moved it by hand), the program probably won't find it. The second place is a fallback location, "My DAZ 3D Library" under your PublicDocuments folder. more …

Thanks for your answer!

Well, I tried and it always spits out an error while scanning the base. "No base character file loaded. Check your input sources." No matter how I move the location of "My DAZ 3D Library" like described on the readme, still no luck.

By locating the files manually like on the "Eyes & Jaw Morph Fixer" I don't have any problems at more …

That's an old screenshot. Newer versions don't need user input to find your Genesis data files, so no need to worry about it.

Thanks for sharing your tools!
Eyes & Jaw Morph Fixer worked like a charm.

I wanted to try this tool too, but the "Input Data Files" option seems to be missing (unlike the other tool) or am I just too dumb to find it?

If your morph relies on vertex delta values, then, yes. Not all morphs use delta values, so you would have to open it up in MS Notepad and take a look. If the morph file is compressed, then DS has tools to decompress it to text.

thanks for the tool! i did a head/body split with this tool but the head now go inside the body, i think i have to fix bones riggin in joint editor.. (i hate that i cant edit/remove comments -.- ) i'll figure it out . thanks again
alter3go (5 years ago)Inappropriate?
so, lets say i have a full body morph (made in G2) with this tool i could be able to obtain a head only morph? but how? can you point me to a guide or something?
Highlander (5 years ago)Inappropriate?
What can you use this tool for? Let's say you created a morph that should only change the head or neck region, but you notice some body movement when sliding the morph back and forth. You can fix that by zeroing out the body and leaving the head untouched.
