Something of a departure for me,, but a respite from all the ghoulies and zombies of the season...

I realised the other day  that over the years I had rendered all the major goddesses of love and beauty from Classical antiquity, so it seemed appropriate to get them all together.

Here we have Middle Eastern Ishtar (Astarte), who became Greek Aphrodite, who in turn became Roman Venus. « Less
