Based upon the F-14 Tomcat, the VT-1 Supercat was the first aircraft developed using reverse engineered alien technologies as well as implementing new conventional avionics. Featuring Fly-by-Wire flight controls, vectored thrust, and a host of other new systems, the Supercat would also serve as a test-bed for the VGF-14 Wildcat development program. It was used to test various flight and combat systems, and advanced construction materials intended for the VGF-14 Program. Ultimately it would be replaced by its successor in service with the UN Military, the Wildcat Variable Geometry Fighter, and relegated to National Guards use by the time of the Global Civil War in 1997...
