Early attempts at utilizing reverse engineered alien technologies were simply too massive to be fitted to smaller vehicles (such as aircraft), and required extremely high power to operate effectively, thus early development was centered around retired warship hulls. Built during the military build-ups of the Global Civil War, the UNS Oriskany II  was the first UN warship to incorporate reverse engineered alien systems from the ground up in her initial design (rather than being an older vessel retrofitted with them). The Oriskany would see service along side older Carriers and newer space-capable vessels in the Civil War ending her career as a UN National Guards vessel when replaced by her more advanced sisters in the newly formed UN Space Fleet.

Features include: Fully detailed hangar and bridge spaces, functional weapons turrets, aircraft elevators and bomb lift, aircraft catapults and blast deflectors, radar masts, hangar bay doors, rudders, propellers, and even hangar gantry cranes! There are numerous ERC Dials for ease of use, and this set also includes smart-parented flags, deck crew (low poly), anchors and anchor chains, and a pair of low poly Helicopters for the flight deck! Last the set also includes a scaling pose that enlarges the Carrier to life-sized for use with my transforming fighters! « Less
