This is a repost of Richard Mandel/Digital Explorations (https://www.deviantart.com/digitalexplorations) conversion of the David Metlesits Hermes clas scout model to OBJ format. The image is a reneder by Digital Explorartions.

The Hermes class scout appeared for the first time in the Franz Joseph Star Fleet Technical Manual of 1975, a faux technical publication that expanded on the world of Star Trek. A member of this class (USS Columbia, NCC-621) was mentioned in background radio chatter in TMP and images from the manual featuring this class, the near-identical Saladin class destroyer and the Ptolemy class tug were shown in background bridge images in TWOK. This class entered service a few years before their Constitution class bethren, and was refitted along them in the 2270s.
