This is a repost of Richard Mandel/Digital Explorations (https://www.deviantart.com/digitalexplorations) conversion of the David Metlesits Saladin class scout model to OBJ format. The image is a render by Digital Explorartions.

The Saladin class scout appeared for the first time in the Franz Joseph Star Fleet Technical Manual of 1975, a faux technical publication that expanded on the world of Star Trek. Images from the manual featuring this class, the near-identical Hermes class scout and the Ptolemy class tug were shown in background bridge images in TWOK. This class entered service a few years before their Constitution class bethren, and was refitted along them in the 2270s.
