Hi Jason,
Since you mention DryJack's shed (Old Shack?) I assume you're talking about Poser-native content (CR2,PP2, etc). Since I don't know what you've already tried here's 3 basic things to check (if you haven't already.
First: check that DAZ Studio knows to look for Poser content in the right place. Assuming you're using DS4.6:
Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, and under Current Directories > Poser Formats check that you have 'C:\Users\myusername\My Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\' listed.
(By default I think it should be there)
Second: check that you have the correct files in the correct subfolders.
Using Windows Explorer check that there are files with .cr2 (for figures) or .pp2 (for props) extensions in the following folders (or in subfolders). You should have CR2 files here:
- C:\Users\myusername\My Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\Runtime\Libraries\Character\
You shold have PP2 files:
- C:\Users\myusername\My Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\Runtime\Libraries\Props\
You must have the correct files in the correct subfolders for anything to show up in the DS Content Library.
Third: when you look in the DS Content Library you should see several top level items - DAZ Studio Formats, Poser Formats, Other Import Formats, Products, and Categories. Expand the Poser Formats and you should see My Library. Expand that as well and you should see Figures, Props and some others. Expand Figures and you should find all the character CR2 files, or expand Props to see all the PP2 files. Double-click a PP2 or CR2 file and DAZ Studio will load the Poser figure/prop.
Hope that helps. If it doesn't post back here or mail me. Or you could mail the person who created the item.
Pete
