Would really appreciate some insight into how to create bones/morphs/etc for mouth expressions. Something similar in 'tech level' to the 'Creating a Head from a Sphere" tutorial would be great. I use Carrara/Hex but would be happy to see this topic in any application.
I'm not going for super realism - so a toon character would be fine - assuming the principles could be re-applied to a humanoid face.
I'd like to end up with a working head/mouth that can posed for different expressions - and look reasonable in a closeup/headshot at 720x480px.
