P.S. If you do have trouble with the maps -- and you really like this outfit -- let me know. I can be found at DAZ, Rendo, or RDNA (Jan19). Send me a pm and I can make new maps and reconform the outfit for you, if necessary. The mesh would have to be redistributed, too, but we'll work something out. :-)

...continued (models/babies) :-) and selling them when people can get 'em free here. But go right ahead...I'd be delighted to see your textures! I hope you don't have trouble with the UV mapping. I've been meaning to revamp these old models, with new maps, but time gets away from one. :-) Jan

Of course not, Donald! :-) Anyone can create any textures they'd like for any of my stuff. The only thing I ask is that the mesh not be redistributed and that's for two reasons: 1) Sometimes I used pieces of OKCRandy's V4 Kit as starter mesh and 2) I really don't want a commercial artist nabbing my babies...

Excellent dress, Jan! Even if it is an "old one", its still up to par with several of the dresses I've seen for sale. If I am able to do so, would you mind overly much if I tried my hand at creating different tectures for this one? If not, I will understand fully.... Many Blessings... DonaldP

Hi, orachel. Thanks so much for the nice comments you've left. :-) I'm sorry it's taken me a day or so to respond but had dentist yesterday, unfortunately. Yuck...anyhow, glad you like this but be warned! This is one of my early pieces...uv mapping is probably off. I'm hoping to redo it. :-)

Jan, love the look of this one. I especially appreciate the directions on how to get DazStud to recognize files. Will give it a whirl. Seriously, you and Goldenthrush have made my day with these offerings, so hoping i can figure out how to use them. Oh, and thanks for the referral to Chohole. I'm new round these parts, and theres so MUCH to hunt thru..referrals are lovely! Big thanks!

Last -- this is an old model. It's one I made when I was first starting to model for Poser so don't be surprised if it's not up to par. The UV Mapping, especially, is not good at all. UV Mapping was my major hurdle to jump. :-) Anyhow, good luck! Try that 'extra runtime' trick. I think I've got 7 different runtimes on my harddrive and both Poser and DS read all of 'em. :-) Jan

BUT I did include DS scripts in my last set, which I submitted to Rendo's Free Stuff last night. If they take it, the scripts are in a separate folder...you'll have to hand place them. I haven't learned to stack a DS runtime yet but all I have to do is look at some else's and follow that.

...thru Preferences, I think. You don't have to do anything but make the folder. The set will distribute itself as it should. Then, after you've asked DS to find this new Runtime, it'll show up in your Content window. I use my models in DS all the time, especially since I got DS3A...

Hey, Will. These models will work in DAZ Studio -- you just have to set up a separate Runtime. It's easy. Make a Folder called Downloads, say, and unzip this, or any other set, to it. Then tell DAZ Studio to search for content it can read (and it will find this) or point DS toward the new Runtime...

Jan, It would so great if you could make these for those of use who use only Daz studio ! the dresses are beautiful. I downloaded and installed them but when I tried to use them, I clicked on the name but there was no content !!

OK!!! Just checked this one, and it works. Hallelujah! :-) I had to upload in a hurry last night, and of course, there had to be a lot of traffic, so uploading was slow and halting. I was worried. Again, if there are problems, let me know. Double zip -- please don't forget. :-)

Thank you so much. :-) After the night I just had, those words are music to my ears. Like I said, this is one of the early models so it doesn't have all the morphs the others do, but maybe I'll get a chance to put them on soon. Jan
