The winners, listed in alphabetical order, are: -- Anadarko Petroleum (Houston, TX) was the winner of the Primavera Excellence Award for Power, Energy & Process. Primavera enabled Anadarko to optimize resources and provide visibility of data across all projects. It has also helped the company make more timely decisions on capital projects by effectively analyzing risk. -- Burns & McDonnell Engineering Co., Inc. (Wallingford, CT) was the winner of the Primavera Excellence Award for Engineering and Construction in the Contractor category. Burns & McDonnell integrated its Primavera system with a GIS solution to prevent a possible shutdown of construction at its $1 billion high-voltage transmission project, saving approximately $400,000 a day. -- Department of Energy, Office of Environmental Management and High Bridge Associates, Inc (Norcross, GA) were the winners of the Primavera Excellence Award for the Public Sector. Using Primavera, the DOE EM office was able to gain faster access to timely project information, significantly improving both its efficiency and productivity and enabling management to make more-informed business decisions. -- Freescale Semiconductor (Austin, TX) was the winner of the Primavera Excellence Award for Technology/Telecom. (Norwalk , CT) was the winner of the Primavera Excellence Award for Professional Services. The company is increasing project execution performance and improving forecasting accuracy through the use of Primavera Evolve. -- Washington Mutual (Seattle, WA) was the winner of the Primavera Excellence Award for Information Technology. WAMU has used Primavera ProSight to successfully manage its global technology portfolio. It was able to increase visibility and provide executive oversight with a significant increase in strategic business alignment.
