Greetings. I'm Chris Melvin. I was born in 1980 and currently I live in Washington State. I've been a CG Artist for many years and discovered ShareCG some years ago. I was instantly inspired to share my skill like all the many other great artists here. I believe that art and expression are innate Human traits and should be freely available to everyone so I share my work to help enrich the art of others. All I ask in return is that my work never be sold, that I get a bit of credit if my art is re-released elsewhere and that someone somewhere enjoy it and find it useful. Feel free to use images you render with my material in any way you like. And I cannot over-stress this next point: I do not ask that you place my name anywhere in your renders. Your art is yours. Express yourself as you will. Please consider this my thanks to the many great and talented artists here. Keep up the tremendous work.

All of my props have been re-packaged and re-uploaded as of 10-26-''10. They''re now packaged in simple zip packages rather than the self extracting packages they were originally packed in. I hope this is ok with everyone. Also in the process of re-uploading my props I''ve updated the shaders on the Green Marble Base and removed the second upload of it.

Just to let everyone know I''ve begun re-uploading my work in simple zipped up packages without the Self Extracting files. Also to let everyone know I always scan my uploads for viruses before uploading.

It''s come to my attention that my method of zipping up files to upload to the site is causing some people trouble so what I''m going to do as soon as I get a free moment is start replacing all my uploaded material with straight Zip packages.
