Hello everyone,
I have a set of labware props for your mad scientist renders! (Or educational, or what have you.) This set of props is based on my popular set of labware models. After receiving some requests to make these into Poser props I decided to do just that. The trouble was that at the time my computer wasn't set up to do it. I now have that problem remedied, and the resultant props are yours for the taking!
All props are fully shaded with transparent, slightly refractive glass material and the metal shaded props are slightly reflective and environment mapped. To use, simply load the prop into the scene. Props are scaled down by default and raised slightly above the 'ground.'. Once these are scaled, moved and rotated into place as you like them, make sure to include raytracing in your scene for maximum effect.
The one weakness concerning these props is that the beaker is not properly textured to include graduated markings. This was because of a problem I had using UV Mapping and transparency. If you wish, you can add your own texture maps. The prop has a seperate material zone for this. In time if I'm able I will upload a texture map. All props are Static.
Enjoy your new props and as always Happy Rendering.
**Disclaimer** I must ask end users of my content that they please not upload any of it in part or in whole (Including meshes, wireframes, textures, etc.) To Second Life or to any site owned or operated by Linden Labs Inc. Normally I do not mind my content being redistributed with certain conditions but; as stated by Linden L abs Incorporated's Terms of Service Agreement, per section 7.3 : prepare derivative works of,display, and perform the content solely for the purpose of providing and promoting the service".
I have granted Linden Labs no such freedom and shall not, as this violates my Content Redistribution conditions in that it allows a third party to sell or make money from my content which as stated in all my ReadMes must not be done. I also feel it would rob me of my rights as creator of the content. Therefore while I normally place as few restrictions as reasonably possible on how my content is used I must ask that my users DO NOT upload any part at all of my original content to any Linden Labs site. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you. « Less
